The registration for the 28^th World Senior Chess Championship is closed. Additional changes are possible only with special permission of the Organizing committee and are linked with higher participation fees.

Until now 340 players from 59 different countries and all continents are registered: Europe, America, Asia, Africa and Oceania. Among them are 33 grandmasters and women grandmasters.

The players are divided by groups as follows:

Women 50 – 65 years old: 25 participants

Women above 65 years old: 20 participants

Men 50 – 65 years old: 114 participants

Men above 65 years old: 181 participants.
